I Lost My Kisses - stART project

Bekah and I have really been enjoying the book, I Lost My Kisses by Trudie Trewin and Nick Bland. It's an adorable story about Matilda who wakes up one morning to find her kisses are missing. She's upset because her daddy is coming home and is afraid she won't have any kisses for him.

For our stART project, I made some stampers by gluing valentine erasers (I got a whole pack of them at the dollar store) onto the top of juice lids.

I didn't have a red ink pad, so I put a little bit of red paint on a plate and we used that. It probably would have come out nicer with the red ink pad. Oh, well!

Bekah had fun using her new stampers to make kisses and hearts and flowers.

You can see what others did for their stART project at A Mommy's Adventures.

  1. I love your homemade stampers, I saw the erasers at dollar tree and couldn't think of anything to use them for. Now I have to go and get them!!!

  6. This book sounds like something we need to read here. Anna always pretends that her kisses are gone and makes us beg for them. I like your creative use of Valentine erasers.

  9. We love making homemade stamps, too. Usually I just use foam paper. Never thought of using erasers. How in the world do you lose your kisses? Now I must find out.
