Snow Play Doh
Although we have a lot of snow outside our door, it has been so frigid that we haven't been out to play in it lately. Bekah is fascinated with making snowmen, so I decided it was a wonderful time to make some snow dough. I made the mistake of telling her I was making it, so every few minutes she was asking if it was done yet! This play dough recipe was easy to make and turned out nicely.
We were able to roll it out and use cookie cutters.
And also got to make some indoor snowmen!
Here's the recipe:
Snow Playdoh
2 cups water
2 cups flour
1 cup salt
4 tsp. cream of tartar
4 tsp. oil
glitter
-Combine ingredients in heavy saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly with wooden spoon until it thickens and pulls away from sides. Form into a ball, place on waxed paper and cool. Knead in glitter.

Madison LOVES her snow dough!
ReplyDeleteWe love snow dough & make a batch (or three!) every year. :)
ReplyDeleteI didn't get a chance to make any snow dough for Selena this year. I love to make it and put a little baby oil in it instead of the oil, then use it to tell the story of Christmas in Sunday School.
