Muffin Tin Monday - Christmas Breakfast

I must say, this was such a fun muffin tin meal to plan for. I had seen this idea for pancakes over at Ramblings of a Crazy Woman. I thought it would be a great way to do breakfast this morning.

I made three pancakes (small, medium, and large) and gave Bekah all the parts to make her snowman.

We used blueberries for the eyes, blackberries for the hat, pretzel sticks for the arms, chocolate chips for the mouth, mini m&m's for the buttons, and mini marshmallows as some snowballs.

She had to say "Let it snow!" for me to put the whipped cream on the pancakes and make them into a snowman.

Then she went to town decorating him. She really just wanted to dive into the chocolate chips, so mommy had to "help" her with decorating the snowman. He turned out cute, don't you think?

She loved this and I really enjoyed making a "Christmas morning" breakfast for her. We usually eat over at my sisters house on Christmas morning, so this was a special treat for us!

  1. I LOVE it! How creative and yummy!

  2. Great idea. My son loves whipped cream, I think he would have loved this.

  3. Love it! We did a snowman too but your whipped cream idea really makes it cool!

  4. How creative! She did an awesome job.

  5. This is a GREAT activity! I love how you let her make her own snowman! I think that we will definitely have to do this. Where did you get the snowman muffin tins? So cute!

  6. Adriana,
The snowmen tin was from the Target dollar stop. The only thing I don't love is that they are flimsy (a thin silicone). But, they serve the purpose we need and I just need to be careful that I don't spill her food all over the floor!

  7. Love it! I want to do this with my kids! Great idea to use the whip cream. I have a feeling that is all my kids would eat though. :-)

  8. I love it! I saw that post, too! So cute. And her snowman turned out adorable!
